Mandarin Oranges

Make Lemon Cook & Serve and Orange Jellos according to package directions. Combine together until smooth and pour into a 9x13” pan. Let set several hours.

What do you do with the egg yolks, sugar and water?

The egg yolks, sugar and water are for the lemon pudding, as per the box requirements. You make the lemon pudding according to the box instructions. Hope you try it... This is one of our favorite thanksgiving side dishes!

Do you let the Orange jello set before adding it to the lemon?

I made this today for Thanksgiving 2014, as my oldest son loves mandarin oranges. Not only did he love it, but the whole family gave it a thumbs up!! It was so delicious, fruity and creamy at the same time. Would go well with all foods. I will definitely make this again! Thank you for sharing your recipe! Happy Holidays!!

I am still unclear on what to do with the egg yolks, sugar, and water. The lemon pudding says to add 2 cups milk. Do I add the above ingredients instead?

Make the jellos and pudding as packages describe and then mix as described in her recipe....

Make sure you buy the cook and serve lemon pudding, not the instant kind. That's where the egg yolks, sugar, and water are required.
Hope that helps. ☺

I feel like my mom made a version of this but it was more yellow, and she added banana slices to the jello part. Well, it's a start to go from there :) thanks for sharing
